PPSSPP, the first PSP emulator for iPhone [Video]

Sony PSP (Play Station Portable) was one of the most successful handheld console in recent years and, even today, one of the most used by hardcore gamers on the move. Recently obsoleted by PSVita by Sony, the PSP will come back to life for the first time for those who don't have a jailbroken iOS devices thanks to a new program called PPSSPP, the first PSP emulator for iOS.

PPSSPP is the first ever emulator that carries the games of PSP on iOS, especially on Apple devices jailbroken.

Currently under development, PPSSPP looks like a very interesting project: the frame rate does not satisfy for now, but in the next build there could be important news. What is amazing is, instead, as a game designed for PSP can turn smoothly (and with graphics almost identical to the original one) on the iPhone and iPad. In the video is the famous videogame tried & # 8220;Wipeout Pure & # 8221;.

PPSSPP is in beta phase limited at the moment, especially on iOS where, due to the limitations imposed by Apple and the need to have a jailbroken device, jobs proceeded rather slowly.

We will inform you as soon as PPSSPP will be officially available for download from the official repositories Cydia. Meanwhile, if you're interested, you can read the latest information about the project from the page or/r/jailbreak monitor progress directly through the official site of PPSSPP .
