The Kickstarter project we want to show you today is carried out by a group of young Danish teens who decided to create a special accessory able to measure wind speed, pretending all the data directly on the screen of our iPhone.

The Wind Meter is a unique accessory that must be inserted into the audio jack of 8217; # & iPhone and is able to tell us just exactly wind speed in the area where we are. Simple and easy to use.

Everything works without any particular electronic circuits, indeed, l # & 8217; in this case is not present. Just enter the Wind Meter in audio jack of 8217; # & iPhone and rotate in the wind. The secret lies in two small magnets included in the rotor of 8217; # & accessory, rotating through the force of wind, interacts with the magnetic field sensor in 8217; # & iDevice. The signal will be converted using a particular algorithm used commonly for 8217; # & sound processing, managing to show the display the actual wind speed.

A useful accessory for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, golf and many other activities. All measurements can be uploaded online and will be available to everyone in a particular map.
