Apple chose TSMC: in a year\'s time the processors of 8217; # & iPhone will no longer be produced by Samsung

Despite the legal wrangling between the two companies, Samsung today remains the # & 8217; only manufacturer material of processors developed by Apple and available on iPhone, iPad and iPod: South Korean giant has been the exclusive provider of Apple chips built according to blueprints designed by 8217; # & companies in Cupertino. But things could change in the coming months, with Apple that came into contact with the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to the production of future processors and with the possibility to exclude entirely Samsung from 8217; # & agreement. The confirmation came from a & # 8217; important head of the South Korea.

From home to Samsung, in fact, comes the news that the 8217; # & company would lost 8217; # & exclusivity for the production of Apple and processors in the coming months could be replaced entirely by TSMC, at least as regards the 8217; # & iPhone. Apple has in fact noted that TSMC is able to satisfy all requests for coverage of processors to be used on future iPhone and, barring surprises, should become the exclusive supplier for the chip to be integrated in 8217; # & iPhone 6.

It comes, therefore, to 2014 as the first year of 8217; # & Samsung's departure from Apple, at least with regard to the processors of the iPhone.

With this choice, Apple would cut off Samsung from a billionaire market, with economic repercussions not just for # & 8217; the South Korean company. Suffice it to say that, in order not to antagonize Apple and not make slightest suspect of stealing the secrets of processors designed in Cupertino, Samsung has completely separated the production of processors for Apple than those of processors for its smartphones Galaxy.

But relations between the two companies are now tilted and simple reassurances are not enough to convince Apple to retrace his steps. TSMC should offer guarantees of equal quality to those of Samsung, so users should not notice any change, however, will occur only in 2014.
