Journalist John c. Dvorak, PC Magazine pen and certainly not an Apple fan, performed a thorough test by comparing the three different satellite navigation applications: Apple's Maps, Google Maps and Waze. The test has also involved two other journalists and was carried out in California.
The three vehicles have faced the same way in the State of California, between highways and secondary roads. The result has made Apple as the winner of the challenge, because its Maps offered the best information and most accurate and up-to-date data on the traffic. Dvorak wondered how come still Maps to be denigrated, as it involves the same Google Maps level, if not better.
Indeed, from the test, just Google Maps has recorded the worst results, lower them even obtained a few months ago. In short, at least in California Apple Maps turns out to be the best of the three, but we're not sure you can say the same also in the rest of the world!
